A fantastic trip with Rich on the Overland Track.
We definitely had the best of this famous walk with crystal clear skies every day. In fact we had the only 6 day streak of clear weather in the last 14 months! We added a side trip to climb the Acropolis for an extra challenge. Definitely recommended!
This is the first trip - ever - where I haven't taken an SLR camera. Most of these photos were shot with a Sony RX100 which I cannot recommend highly enough. The RX100 weighs in at 300g as opposed to my D200 which is 1.8Kgs! The RX100 has an F1.8 lens and an intelligent composite mode that makes short work of difficult shooting conditions.
Some photos were taken by Rich. His camera is a Ricoh Caplio R6 and has a warmer colour cast than the RX100. I've indicated in the photo caption if the photo was taken by Rich.
